Robert F. Kennedy
Robert Francis "Bobby" Kennedy (20.11.1925 – 6.6.1968), also referred to by his initials RFK, was an American politician, a Democratic senator from New York, and a noted civil rights activist. He is not known to confess trying psychedelics himself but he has defended research projects in subcommittee hearing. Probably also because his wife Ethel had been treated for alcholism with LSD and benefitted from the experience.
- "I think we have given too much emphasis and so much attention to the fact that it can be dangerous and that it can hurt an individual who uses it… that perhaps to some extent we have lost sight of the fact that it can be very, very helpful in our society if used properly." - When Bobby Kennedy defended LSD http://www.deathandtaxesmag.com/185686/
